How it works
In most cases we simply negotiate a plea on your behalf. The legal fees quoted on this page assume that you will plead "nolo contendere," which means you are not pleading guilty, but you will not contest the ticket. In most cases a moving violation like a speeding ticket will be reduced to a non-moving violation, like a parking ticket and the fine will be reduced as well.If you want to plead "not guilty" and contest the charge(s), you need to contact us before submitting a payment.
Procedure to be followed
You do not have to come to our office to submit you citation information. We can accept citations for plea negotiations issued in the jurisdiction of the following courts:
- Las Vegas Municipal Court*** - $50.00;
- Las Vegas Justice Court - $50.00;
- Henderson Municipal Court*** - $50.00;
- Henderson Justice Court - $50.00;
- North Las Vegas Municipal Court*** - $50.00;
- North Las Vegas Justice Court - $50.00;
- Laughlin Justice Court - $50.00; and
- Goodsprings Justice Court - $50.00.
The legal fees listed are for single minor violation citations (not DUI, Reckless, or other serious violations). Legal fees are what we charge to handle your case. You will still need to pay the court fees and fines directly to the court.
*** For Mandatory Court Appearance in any Municipal Court, please be advised that the fees may be higher.
For DUI, Reckless Driving, multiple violation citations, cases in warrant status, different jurisdictions or if you do not see a payment option for your case, please contact us. In most cases we can evaluate your case immediately and let you know how much the legal fees will be.
Please be sure you give us your current contact information including your name, mailing address, email address and phone number. If you move or change your phone number, it is your responsibility to let us know.
It is your responsibility to give us anything we need to help fight your citation, for example, proof of insurance, proof of residence, etc. If you do not provide this information, we will assume that you do not have it and we will not be able to get you the best possible deal.
Unless told otherwise, if given the option, we will always select the option that does not involve traffic school, even if the fine is higher.
You will receive an email from the firm letting you know the disposition of the citation after we have negotiated your case on your behalf. The email will let you know what you owe the court in the way of fees and fines as well as the final charge. If you do not pay the fees and fines to the court, a warrant may be issued for your arrest and the negotiation will be void, in other words, the original charge will go on your record and you will hae paid us for nothing.
Fees are earned when paid. We reserve the right to reject your traffic case at any time, for any reason. If we do not accept your case, any fee that you have paid will be refunded in full.
You should receive a confirmation that your case has been accepted within two business days of your submission. Your case will be deemed rejected if you do not receive a confirmation by email that your case has been accepted after two business days.
There is no guarantee of any particular outcome.
